Since then they have had some disappointing results including a 2-2 draw at home to India that they had led twice in, as well as the 4-1 hammering in the Ashes in Australia at the start of 2026.

With the series now tied at 1-1, the pressure rises as the Springboks and All Blacks return to Johannesburg with the winner taking a crucial step towards claiming the series. New Zealand won the opening Test 33-16 at Ellis Park, but South Africa responded with a 33-26 victory in Cape Town, with Cheslin Kolbe kicking 18 points and Siya Kolisi scoring on his return to captain the side. Now, with just two Tests remaining, both sides know there is little room for error in what promises to be another fierce chapter of rugby's greatest rivalry.

Coverage of the Scottish Premiership match from The Marbill Coaches Stadium. The visitors had the better of the five meetings between the two sides last season, winning four of those games. They claimed three 1-0 victories in the league as well as a crazy 6-2 win after extra time in a Scottish Cup semi-final. The hosts did however claim the most important win out of those meetings as they shocked Celtic with a 3-1 victory in the League Cup final in December.
